ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM

In-Person. Face-to-Face classes allows students receive in-person instruction from teachers.

Online Programs

• Online Accelerated - Students must have a 2.0 GPA or better; no more than 1 credit behind; internet access; self-advocacy skills; effective time management skills; independent learner; and have no history of truancy. (No Exceptions)
• Online Health - Student with medical/psychological or physical diagnosis. Documentation must be provided that outlines reasons in which students cannot attend in-person programming (i.e immunocompromised family member/self). Even if Covid related.

Avenues Parallel Program

The Avenues Parallel Program (APP) is designed for students who are over age and under credit and are looking to complete their high school equivalency and are ready to move into the Post-Secondary Education/Workforce.

Credit Recovery

Aurora Public Schools' credit recovery program is designed to provide an opportunity for students to obtain credits toward their high school graduation. Students are assigned two .25 credit courses at a time on the Edgenuity online curriculum platform. Student may work from home or at school to complete lesson activities.
